ANOTHER WARNING: The following is a disjointed, incoherant account of my vacation/house buying trip to Victoria, B.C. It contains no useful information whatsoever. Go read a book.

Ahhh. I love that city. The shopping is so much better than in Edmonton, much cooler stuff. To my infinate delight, I found a shop selling exclusively Converse. There were many such periods of utter bliss during the span of the trip. Sitting in tiny coffee shops next to Rastafarians, UVIC students, and ragged looking authors banging away on beat up old laptops. Walking for miles along the beach. Crammed into the corner of an enormous, palatial bookshop, reading thick tomes by long dead Russians. House shopping was hell, though. An endless sucsession of crumbling dumps, with one or two decent enough places squeezed in. I finally got to meet an estranged aunt of mine, who is nice enough but utterly crazy. Managed to get in some decent sketching, but alas I ran out of paper. I finally found a high school, which has an excellent auditorium and some fascinating classes (I'm taking psycology and Japanese next year) . They even have a hairdressing academy...(completely irrelevant). The sad thing is, I spent all my money there. I'm broke.... Oh well. Lalalalaaaaa...
